Youth & Government

The YMCA Youth & Government program is a free civic engagement and leadership program for high school students. Participants explore how government works, develop public speaking and critical-thinking skills, debate important issues, write legislation, and connect with other students who want to make a difference.

Participants also have the opportunity to attend conferences, including the annual New York State Youth & Government Conference in Albany. Join a welcoming community of teens ready to find their voice, become informed leaders, and create positive change!
